Brandon Davis made TMZ.com Famous

According to an article in Radar Online by John Cook, TMZ.com became a major player in online gossip when a cameraman for TMZ.com taped the Brandon Davis Lyndsay Lohan Fire Crotch rant.

I am neither a fan of the TMZ.com or their very negative TV show on Fox.

When it launched, the site had so little juice in Hollywood that its reporters were reduced to identifying themselves as "calling from Time Warner."

That changed in May 2006, when one of TMZ's videographers caught an apparently loaded Brandon Davis, grandson of oil billionaire Marvin Davis, walking down Sunset Boulevard with Paris Hilton during a night of clubbing. Mugging for the cameras, Davis launched into a two-minute rant about Lohan's pudenda: "Lindsay Lohan is a firecrotch, and she has freckles coming out of her vagina, and her clitoris is seven feet long." The video was viewed more than 2.5 million times, according to TMZ—exposure that put the site on the map and proved there is an enormous audience for shaky handheld video of even the most peripheral players in young Hollywood saying irretrievably obnoxious things.

The family charity events include the super exclusive Barbara and Marvin Davis Carousel of Hope, sponsored by Mercedes Benz and many others. The other family charity event is Nancy Davis’s Race to Erase MS, sponsored by Tommy Hilfiger and many others. PMK is the family publicist on these events. Seats to these events are by invitation only and then can run into the tens of thousands of dollars for the best seats.
Politics and out of control Davis kids can ruin the attendence, so they stepped in pretty quickly when Brandon went out of control, and made him apologise and seek a rehab clinic far away, and for as long as possible. (until they could get people to attend the charity events.)

How I came to know the socialite Jason Davis part 2 (describe him)

Here was a person like his brother Brandon Davis, that always let you know that he was the one with the money and you were not in the same league. It did not phase me, because I have always been a humble person. He needed constant supervision, and always had a body guard or a caring close friend to keep him out of trouble. I came in late to a car situation of his, but it seemed he could not drive a car, and needed someone to drive him around. I could speculate to say that he crashed his cars to often, but that would be pure speculation.
